Every Danish company, from the register.
Belda reads the Central Business Register, the state's own list of companies, and never a bought database.
- On the register
- too early: the register's own site refused an anonymous read on 2 October 2026 with a challenge page, and its keeper's pages state no count, so no count is shown until Belda's user at the state's data distributor exists, read 2 October 2026. Source

You type an industry code and a municipality. The agent reads the register, then each company's own site. The list comes back with a source under every row.
What the register holds
The Central Business Register is free to search, and its basic data is free under a Creative Commons attribution licence through the state's data distributor once a user exists. The industry code is the Danish classification of 2025, a six-digit form of the European one, in force in the register since 1 January 2025. A size band by employees is computed by Statistics Denmark. A company can set a flag that bars the use of its register data for marketing, and the public search shows it.
What Belda reads
- The industry code. The Danish classification of 2025, so a code you type finds every company registered under it.
- The municipality. The register's own field, so a list is drawn by place.
- The legal form and the registration date. As the register states them.
- The size band. The band Statistics Denmark computes from the register.
- The marketing flag. A company that set it is counted in the universe and never written to.
What Belda never stores
- A person's e-mail address or phone number from the register. The register publishes none for a person.
- A national identity number, or any field the register shows only to the company itself.
- A row that did not come from a list you asked for. Every row names its register and its read date, or it does not enter the list.
Three questions of every row
Where did it come from. When was it true. Who said I may write to it. The register answers the first two on every row, and the marketing flag answers the third. After the register the agent reads the company's own site and marks fit with the sentence it found there and the page it was on.
