Every Belgian company, from the register.

Belda is the Autonomous Revenue Operating System. It reads the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, the state's own list of companies, and never a bought database. The list comes back with a source under every row.

Register The Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE), kept by the FPS Economy, read through its open data files

On the register Too early. The keeper's page on the register and its open data page state no count on 15 October 2026, and the files sit behind a free registration with an image code that a person completes, so no count is shown until Belda's registration at the open data portal exists and the complete file has been read. You say who you sell to in Belgium, in words. The agent turns the words into NACE-BEL 2025 codes and a municipality, reads the register's daily open data file after its free registration, then each company's own site.

What Belda does

It does the selling, and you say yes.

What the register holds

The FPS Economy keeps the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, a database of all the basic data on companies and their business units, and gives its open data away after a free registration: a complete file of every active entity and establishment unit and an update file of the changes since the last one, both daily, each kept 31 days, under the register's own open data license. The same registration opens the Public Search web services. The industry code is NACE-BEL 2025, five digits on the European NACE Rev. 2.1, in force since 1 January 2025. Officers and their functions are shown in the register's Public Search and are not in the open data. The license bars the reuse of personal data for direct marketing, and the keeper's page says that includes all data on a registered entity that is a natural person. The keeper's pages state no count of entities, read by the machine on 15 October 2026.

What Belda reads

The NACE-BEL code. Five digits on NACE-BEL 2025, in force since 1 January 2025, kept per enterprise in the open data's activity file. The agent derives it from your words, and the row's source line shows it.

The address and its municipality. In the address file for every entity and every establishment unit, so a list is drawn by place.

The enterprise number. One unique number the register assigns to each company and to each business unit, so one company's units sit under its number and a row is never matched by name alone.

The denomination, the legal form and the start date. As the enterprise file and the denomination file carry them, the basic data the register holds on every entity.

The update file. The changes since the last file, daily, each file kept 31 days, so a company that leaves the register leaves your list the day its row changes.

What Belda never stores

A person's email address or phone number from the open data. The license bars the reuse of personal data for direct marketing, and the keeper's page counts all data on a registered entity that is a natural person as personal, so a sole trader's fields are read for the count and never kept for a letter.

An officer's name or function. The register shows them in its Public Search and keeps them out of the open data, and Belda leaves them there on a company that has not said yes.

A row that did not come from a list you asked for. Every row names its register and its read date, or it does not enter the list.

Three questions of every row

Where did it come from. When was it true. Who said I may write to it. The register answers the first two on every row: each daily file is dated, and the license asks that the source and that date be stated wherever the data is used. The register carries no marketing flag, and the license does that work for part of the market: it bars direct marketing to the personal data of a natural-person entity, so a sole trader is counted in the universe and never written to, and for a company the market's rule does the rest, with the Do Not Call Me list for the phone. After the register the agent reads the company's own site and marks fit with the sentence it found there and the page it was on.

What a buyer asks about Belgium's register

Where do the Belgian companies on my list come from?

Belda reads the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, the state's own list of companies, and never a bought database. You say who you sell to in Belgium, in words. The agent turns the words into NACE-BEL 2025 codes and a municipality, reads the register's daily open data file after its free registration, then each company's own site.

How many companies does Belgium's register hold?

Too early. The keeper's page on the register and its open data page state no count on 15 October 2026, and the files sit behind a free registration with an image code that a person completes, so no count is shown until Belda's registration at the open data portal exists and the complete file has been read.

What does Belda never store from Belgium's register?

A person's email address or phone number from the open data. An officer's name or function. The register shows them in its Public Search and keeps them out of the open data, and Belda leaves them there on a company that has not said yes. A row that did not come from a list you asked for.
