Register The Court Register (Sudski registar), kept by the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation, read through its open data API
On the register Too early. The register's open data portal answered the machine's read on 15 October 2026 with a redirect loop, and its API documentation and the national open data catalog state no count, so no count is shown until Belda's registration at the portal exists and a snapshot of the register has been read. You say who you sell to in Croatia, in words. The agent turns the words into NKD codes and a place, reads the register's open data tables with the key its free registration gives, then each company's own site.
What Belda does
It does the selling, and you say yes.
What the register holds
The Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation keeps the Court Register and publishes it as open data under the Open License of the Republic of Croatia, for nothing, to anyone who registers: the portal mails a confirmation, then shows a client id and a client secret, and a token from that pair lasts six hours. The API is a table dump of the register: names, seats, main activities, legal forms, share capital, proceedings and email addresses, each table paged on a snapshot. The API takes no activity code as a parameter, so the agent joins the activity table with the seat table on its own machine to list by code and place. The data is refreshed once each working day. The industry code is NKD 2025, the national classification of activities, the Croatian form of the European one. Officers, owners and documents are on the court's own portal, not in the API. The register's pages state no count of entities, read by the machine on 15 October 2026.
What Belda reads
The pretežita djelatnost. One main activity per entity at /pretezite_djelatnosti, an NKD 2025 code of four digits with the point after two, as the register writes it. The agent derives it from your words, and it shows in the row's source line.
The sjedište. The registered seat at /sjedista, the place the register files for the entity, so a list is drawn by place.
The pravni oblik, the tvrtka and the temeljni kapital. The legal form at /pravni_oblici, the registered name at /tvrtke with its short form at /skracene_tvrtke, and the share capital at /temeljni_kapitali, as the register files them.
The postupci. The register's table of proceedings at /postupci, as the court files them, so the row carries what the court has entered against the company.
The snapshot. Every call names its snapshot_id, and the answer carries X-Timestamp, the day and time the data set was copied, so every row says when it was true.
What Belda never stores
A person's email address or phone number. The register's /email_adrese table holds the entity's own addresses, and no table of the API holds a phone number or a person's address.
An OIB of a person, or a director's or an owner's name. The API serves no officer table: officers, owners and documents are on the court's portal, and Belda leaves them there on a company that has not said yes.
A row that did not come from a list you asked for. Every row names its register and its read date, or it does not enter the list.
Three questions of every row
Where did it come from. When was it true. Who said I may write to it. The register answers the first two on every row: each row comes off a snapshot, and the snapshot carries the day it was copied. Croatia's register carries no marketing flag, so the market's rule does that work instead. After the register the agent reads the company's own site and marks fit with the sentence it found there and the page it was on.
What a buyer asks about Croatia's register
Where do the Croatian companies on my list come from?
Belda reads the Court Register, the state's own list of companies, and never a bought database. You say who you sell to in Croatia, in words. The agent turns the words into NKD codes and a place, reads the register's open data tables with the key its free registration gives, then each company's own site.
How many companies does Croatia's register hold?
